Who can take part

  • Be an adult (18 or older)
  • Have had an ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke confirmed on imaging (MRI/scan)
  • Have pain in the body area(s) affected by your stroke
  • Be at least 1 month after your stroke
  • Not have a TIA (a “mini-stroke”) instead of a full stroke
  • Have no implanted devices like a pacemaker, defibrillator, or spinal cord stimulator
