Who can take part
- Your eye exam shows a narrow drainage angle (6 or more clock-hours) in BOTH eyes where the drainage meshwork isn’t visible
- There are no “stuck” iris folds (no peripheral anterior synechiae) in those narrowed areas
- Your eye pressure is normal, and your optic nerve and visual field tests look normal
- You have not had prior eye surgery or laser treatments for eye drainage (like cataract surgery, trabeculoplasty, or iridectomy/iridoplasty)
- You have never had an acute angle-closure episode (such as a sudden attack), and there are no signs of past severe inflammation/iris damage
- You can attend follow-up visits, and you don’t have severe health problems or serious other eye diseases (like advanced cataract or retinal detachment)
