Who can take part

  • You are an adult (18 years or older).
  • You have no upper teeth (upper jaw edentulism), with severe upper-jaw bone loss.
  • Your situation may be after upper-jaw cancer or injury, with a prior reconstruction, or after upper-jaw surgery that left a cheek-to-sinus opening.
  • You can sign the informed consent (agree to take part).
  • You do NOT have chronic sinus infection (chronic sinusitis).
  • You are not pregnant or nursing.
