Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have severe bone loss in your upper jaw (doctors call this Cawood and Howell class V or VI).
- You are healthy enough for dental implant surgery and can get the implant placed right away.
- You do not have sinus infections, uncontrolled health problems, or a history of head and neck radiation.
- You are not a moderate or heavy smoker (no more than 5 cigarettes per day).
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you have not taken bisphosphonate medications.
