Who can take part
- You have a confirmed diagnosis of TTP, either the immune type or the genetic (inherited) type, with very low levels of a blood protein called ADAMTS13 (below 10% of normal).
- You do not have any severe TTP symptoms at the time of joining the study.
- Your blood counts and lab tests are stable and not dangerously low (platelets at least 100,000, and LDH no more than three times the upper limit).
- You have never had a stroke, and an MRI of your brain shows no past silent strokes.
- You are willing to follow the study schedule and not pregnant or breastfeeding.
