Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have a type of TTP (immune TTP) based on standard blood tests, with low platelets (≤30) and kidney markers not too high (creatinine ≤200).
- You are not already doing well (platelets over 100) before starting plasma treatment.
- You do not have other serious conditions like active cancer, uncontrolled HIV, or another cause for blood problems.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy soon, and if you could become pregnant you use effective birth control and have a negative pregnancy test.
- You weigh 100 kg (about 220 lbs) or less, and you don't have major bleeding risks or need blood thinners that can't be paused.
