Who can take part

  • You have triple-negative metastatic breast cancer (estrogen/progesterone receptors ≤10% and HER2-negative).
  • Your cancer is advanced/regionally recurrent or metastatic, and you have had up to 2 prior treatment lines for the advanced/metastatic setting.
  • You have received anthracycline and taxane chemo before (or your doctor says you were not able to take them) and you can start eribulin.
  • You must have metabolic dysfunction, such as HbA1c above 5.5 and/or a BMI of 30 or higher.
  • Your body has to be strong enough for treatment (ECOG performance status of 0–1 and blood/liver/kidney numbers within limits).
  • You must have measurable cancer or a mainly “lytic” bone lesion, and you’re willing to fast before treatment days.
