This study tests a new “together” training approach for people recovering from their first stroke and their primary caregivers. The goal is to improve recovery and day-to-day support by teaching the patient-caregiver pair how to work together.

Who can take part
- You (or the person in the study) are a stroke survivor age 20 or older
- The stroke is the first one, and it happened within the last 2 years
- You and your primary caregiver both speak Mandarin
- You have a primary caregiver age 20 or older who is willing and available to join sessions with you
- Both the patient and caregiver must be able to agree to the study (informed consent)
- You and your caregiver should be able to join a 1-hour discussion session and are not limited by major treatments
