Who can take part

  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 25 or higher
  • You sit at a desk at least 75% of an 8+ hour workday
  • You have prediabetes (A1c 5.7–6.4% or fasting glucose 100–125 mg/dL) or other diabetes risks
  • You do NOT have known heart disease, heart failure, or poor circulation in the legs
  • You do NOT have diabetes already, nerve damage (neuropathy), or fainting from standing
  • You are not using a standing desk already
