Who can take part

  • You’re at least 14 years old, and your growth plates are fully closed
  • Your foot measurements must meet specific angle thresholds for bunion and forefoot alignment
  • You must be able to follow post-surgery care plans and attend follow-up visits for months afterward
  • If you’re able to get pregnant: you must use non-childbearing birth control and have a negative pregnancy test
  • You can’t have had prior bunion surgery on the side being treated
  • You must agree not to have other reconstructive surgery on the other foot for at least 6 months
