Who can take part
- You are an adult (18 or older).
- Your kidney cancer has a tumor in the IVC vein, and the vein wall is involved (known before or during surgery).
- You had approved imaging tests (ultrasound, contrast ultrasound, and/or contrast CT and MRI) before surgery.
- You had a radical nephrectomy (removal of the kidney) plus at least one type of vein/thrombectomy procedure.
- You can tolerate surgery and your health status is good (ECOG 0–2).
- You can return for follow-up visits, and you have no prior history of cancer.
