Who can take part
- You have advanced kidney cancer that has spread to nearby tissues or lymph nodes, or has limited spread that can be removed
- You have not had prior cancer treatment like chemotherapy, radiation, or targeted therapy
- Your cancer is measurable on scans and has not spread to the brain
- You are in generally good health (ECOG score 0 or 1)
- Your blood counts and organ function are within acceptable ranges
- You agree to use effective birth control during and for 3 months after treatment
