Treatments studied

Part of Cancer, Kidney & urinary, Women’s health & pregnancy clinical trials.

This trial studies lenvatinib and pembrolizumab given before surgery to treat kidney cancer that has grown into a large vein (the IVC) near the liver or heart. The goal is to shrink or control the tumor thrombus and make treatment and surgery more effective and safer.

Pembrolizumab, Belzutifan, and Lenvatinib for Kidney Cancer

This trial tests a combination of three medicines—pembrolizumab (a drug that helps your immune system fight cancer), belzutifan, and lenvatinib (drugs that slow tumor growth)—in patients with early-stage kidney cancer who are candidates for surgery. The goal is to see if this combination can improve outcomes before or alongside surgery.
