Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old and can sign written consent
- You have kidney cancer with a tumor in the IVC vein (Mayo levels II–IV) and stage III–IV disease without distant spread that is still allowed (M0–1)
- Your kidney tumor and vein clot are planned to be treated as resectable or unresectable at enrollment
- There is at least one measurable spot of cancer on scans, and it must meet RECIST measurement rules
- Your general health is good enough (ECOG performance status 0 to 1)
- You must have adequate organ function and acceptable heart testing (including heart pumping strength and heart rhythm limits)
