This trial compares a modified hip implant positioning method to lower the chance of the hip “slipping out of place” (dislocation) after major hip tumor surgery and reconstruction. If you qualify, you may help test whether a small change in implant angle improves stability and function.

Who can take part
- Be age 16 or older (any gender).
- Have a tumor in the hip area such as the socket ring (periacetabulum), hip ball (femoral head), upper thigh bone (femoral neck), or nearby bone (proximal femur).
- Be planning 3D-printed hemipelvic endoprosthesis reconstruction after the tumor bone is removed.
- Expect to live at least 1 year and be able to sign informed consent.
- Be able to check your own recovery/function after surgery and return for follow-up visits as the team needs.
