Who can take part

  • Your baby should be about 7 to 16 months old when the study starts
  • Your baby must live in a home where English or Spanish is spoken
  • At least one parent in the home must speak English or Spanish
  • A parent (not just another caregiver) must be able and willing to join the study activities
  • Your baby may have typical hearing, hearing loss, or hearing loss with a hearing aid or cochlear implant
