Who can take part

  • If you’re in the RA group: you must be diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis for at least 3 months.
  • If you’re in the RA group: you must take stable methotrexate weekly (7.5–25 mg) for at least 3 months before starting.
  • You must be within the age and body-size limits (RA group: 18–70; BMI usually 18–40).
  • You must be able to provide informed consent and follow study instructions.
  • You cannot have certain infections (including HIV, hepatitis B or C, or active tuberculosis).
  • You should avoid major recent medication changes or recent investigational drugs before dosing.
