Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Have had your first stroke in the front part of the brain (anterior circulation), confirmed by routine MRI
- Join the study within 10 days of when your stroke symptoms started
- Not have had a previous stroke (by history or brain scans)
- Not have had an additional stroke in the back part of the brain (posterior circulation)
