You may be eligible if your injury matches the trial’s fracture type and surgery timing, and you can attend follow-up visits and answer questionnaires.

Who can take part

  • You have a sustained olecranon fracture classified as Mayo 2a or 2b
  • You plan to receive care at Skåne University Hospital in Lund or Malmö, Sweden
  • Your fracture was operated on within 14 days of the injury
  • You can take part in follow-up visits and complete questionnaires (you can understand them and communicate)
  • You are able to sign informed consent in writing
  • Your fracture is not a severe open type (Gustilo-Anderson class III) and not caused by spreading cancer
