Who can take part

  • You have a connective tissue disease (for example, lupus, scleroderma) diagnosed by standard medical criteria
  • You have pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) linked to connective tissue disease, or a related type called chronic thromboembolic disease
  • If you have chronic thromboembolic disease, you must have had at least 3 months of blood thinner (anticoagulation) therapy
  • A heart procedure (right heart catheterization) must confirm your lung blood pressure is in the right range (pre-capillary pulmonary hypertension)
  • Your pulmonary hypertension must NOT be due to other types (called Groups II, III, or V)
