Who can take part
- You have painful knee or hip osteoarthritis (arthritis) symptoms
- You are a Veteran who has had at least one VA primary care visit in the last year at Eastern Colorado Healthcare System clinics
- You are currently not very active physically (the study will define this during screening)
- You can join group exercise by phone/video—meaning you have telephone access and enough internet at home
- You have not had knee/hip surgery, a sudden knee cartilage injury, or ACL injury in the last 6 months
- You are able and willing to participate in a group exercise program in English
