This trial compares ONC-392 versus docetaxel (a standard chemotherapy) in metastatic squamous non-small cell lung cancer that has grown again after PD-1/PD-L1 immunotherapy. It’s testing whether ONC-392 can control the cancer better or more safely after prior treatment.

Who can take part

  • You are an adult (18+) and able to sign consent
  • Your lung cancer is confirmed as metastatic squamous NSCLC (with spread to lymph nodes or other organs)
  • Your scans show the cancer grew after PD-1/PD-L1 immunotherapy plus platinum chemotherapy, and you’ve also had at least 2 rounds of platinum chemotherapy
  • You have at least one measurable tumor spot on a scan and you’re not too limited in daily activities (ECOG 0–1)
  • Your blood counts and organ health are good enough, and your expected survival is at least 3 months
  • You don’t have certain mutations (EGFR, ALK, ROS1, HER2, MET, BRAF, RET, or NTRK); KRAS is allowed
