Who can take part
- You’re 18 to 75 years old, and you can be male or female
- Your stomach (or stomach/food-pipe junction) cancer must be adenocarcinoma that cannot be removed by surgery or has spread
- Your tumor must test positive for HER2 (a specific marker on cancer cells)
- You must have the right treatment situation: Phase Ib includes people who failed or couldn’t tolerate prior standard therapy (or had no prior drug treatment); Phase II is for people who have not had cancer drug treatment yet
- Your daily function must be good (ECOG 0–1) and your expected survival is at least 3 months
- Your blood and organ tests (bone marrow, liver, kidneys) need to meet study safety levels
