- You have not had treatment yet for localized stomach or GEJ adenocarcinoma that has grown locally (not distant metastasis).
- Your general strength/fitness is fairly good (ECOG 0 to 1).
- Your blood, kidney, and liver tests are good enough for treatment.
- If you can have a pregnancy: you must use reliable birth control during the study and for a period after the last chemotherapy dose (and possibly longer after certain drug dosing).
- You must not have had prior cancer medicines or investigational anti-cancer drugs for this current cancer.
