Who can take part

  • You must be under 40 years old when you start the study.
  • Your body size must meet a minimum (body surface area at least 0.8 m²).
  • Your osteosarcoma must be newly diagnosed and confirmed as high-grade by pathology.
  • Your cancer spread must fit the trial’s definition (lungs or certain bone spots), or you may qualify even if it is localized for the appropriate risk group.
  • You need enough blood counts and organ function (kidney, liver, heart) based on recent lab tests and heart tests.
  • You must be able to swallow tablets whole, and you must not have had prior chemotherapy or prior systemic cancer treatment for osteosarcoma.
