Who can take part

  • You or your child must have osteosarcoma that has come back, with tumors only in the lungs.
  • Doctors must be able to remove all lung nodules with surgery.
  • You must have at least one nodule that can be treated with radiation and another nodule that needs surgery.
  • Any side effects from past treatments must be mostly gone or stable.
  • Your heart, lungs, kidney, liver, and blood counts must be healthy enough for this treatment.
