Who can take part
- You have thumb base arthritis (rhizarthrosis) in stages 1 to 3
- You’ve tried standard pain treatment for at least 6 months, but it isn’t working well anymore
- Your thumb pain is at least moderate (EVA score 4 or higher)
- Your hand disability scores are high enough (QuickDASH or PRWHE 20/100 or higher)
- You can have the study consent process and are covered by social security
- Your body size allows treatment (BMI is 18 or higher)
