Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 90 years old
- If you have swallowing trouble, your high-resolution esophagus pressure test must be normal
- You must not have had certain recent head and neck cancer treatments
- You should not have muscle or nerve/muscle-communication diseases (like muscular dystrophy or myasthenia gravis)
- You must not be allergic to lidocaine or barium
- You must be able to use the exerciser by yourself or with a caregiver
