Who can take part

  • Be between 50 and 85 years old
  • Have brain MRI results that fit small-vessel disease (with specific scan features)
  • Have been checked for major (large) artery narrowing and have less than 50% blockage
  • Be able to stay stable and follow instructions during tests (including MRI and thinking tests)
  • Be able to complete memory/thinking testing; severe hearing or vision problems may prevent participation
