Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with cerebral small vessel disease (damage to small blood vessels in the brain) seen on an MRI.
  • You do not have other major brain conditions (like a large stroke, brain tumor, epilepsy, or previous brain surgery).
  • The white matter changes in your brain are not from other causes like inflammation or toxins.
  • You are able to have an MRI scan without any metal implants or other contraindications.
