Who can take part
- Live in Nanjing and plan to stay for at least the next 5 years
- Be between ages 40 and 69
- Have no known history of heart or blood vessel disease
- Have no major liver problems (AST or ALT more than 3× the usual normal limit)
- Have healthy kidney function (not kidney disease worse than stage 4; eGFR under 30 usually excludes)
- Not have had a coronary CT scan or invasive coronary angiogram in the past 5 years, and you must be safe to have a CCTA scan
