New CT Scanning Technology for Heart Attack Risk Assessment

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have been diagnosed with coronary artery disease (narrowed heart vessels) or have chest pain or heart failure symptoms
  • You are not allergic to iodine contrast dye (the tracer fluid used in CT scans)
  • Your kidneys work well enough (eGFR of at least 30)
  • You have not had bypass surgery on your heart
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
