Who can take part
- You must be an adult (age 18–80) and able to move around (ECOG 0–1).
- Your cancer must be stomach or esophagus-stomach junction adenocarcinoma confirmed by biopsy.
- Your tumor must be mismatch repair–deficient (dMMR) on a test done on an endoscopy biopsy.
- Your cancer stage must be T2 to T4b with nearby lymph nodes involved, but no distant spread (M0).
- You must have adequate blood counts, liver, kidney, and blood-clotting test results for treatment.
- You must not have had any prior treatment for stomach cancer and must not have HER2-positive cancer.
