Who can take part
- You’re between 18 and 75 years old
- A biopsy from colonoscopy confirmed colorectal adenocarcinoma (a common type of colon/rectal cancer)
- Your scans show the tumor is in the right location (upper rectum or sigmoid colon, or its lower edge is more than 10 cm from the anal margin)
- Your pre-surgery stage is cT1 to cT4a, with no distant spread (M0)
- You do not have certain “pre-surgery” problems (like major local complications, uncontrolled infection, or planned pre-surgery chemotherapy)
