Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • Your esophagus cancer must be squamous cell type, and it must have returned or spread to measurable spots that doctors can track on scans.
  • You need at least two measurable tumor areas, and at least one must be treatable with the study radiation.
  • You should not have had PD-1 immunotherapy before.
  • Your heart, lung, liver, and kidney health must be stable enough for treatment (no serious recent worsening, and specific lab ranges must be met).
  • You must be able to understand the study and sign consent, and you must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
