Who can take part
- You are an adult age 18 or older.
- You had your first ischemic stroke that was not explained after advanced work-up.
- The stroke happened within the last 3 months.
- You can give informed consent (or a trusted delegate can help).
- You can safely have an FDG PET/CT scan (for example, you are not pregnant and can lie still for about 20 minutes).
- You have not had active cancer before (except skin basal or squamous cell cancer).
