Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with bronchiectasis
- You are currently admitted to a respiratory intensive care unit (RICU)
- You need ventilator-type breathing support, but not an invasive mechanical ventilation breathing tube
- You are 18 years or older
- You have not had an earlier tracheotomy (a breathing opening in the neck)
- You have not already needed invasive breathing machine support and you do not have end-organ failure
