Who can take part
- You are older than 18.
- You are being cared for in the intensive care unit (ICU).
- You have a diagnosed type of interstitial lung disease (lung scarring) that is getting worse.
- You have had more trouble breathing for at least a month.
- You need extra oxygen at a rate higher than 6 liters per minute.
- You do not have a pacemaker or implantable defibrillator, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
