This Phase 2 study uses special drug dyes (bevacizumab and cetuximab, each tagged for imaging) during an esophagus scope to help doctors find very early abnormal cells, like low- or high-grade pre-cancer and superficial cancer. If you qualify, the goal is earlier detection and better targeting during diagnosis and treatment.

Who can take part

  • You are an adult (18 years or older) and can give written consent
  • You have Barrett’s esophagus without dysplasia, or with suspected/diagnosed low-grade or high-grade dysplasia, or very superficial esophageal adenocarcinoma
  • You are already planning an esophagus endoscopy for diagnosis and/or treatment
  • You have not had prior radiation therapy for esophageal cancer
  • You have not had prior bevacizumab or cetuximab (and you do not have an allergy to these)
