Who can take part

  • You have confirmed squamous cell cancer in the larynx or hypopharynx from a biopsy
  • You are 18 years or older, and you can sign consent for the study
  • You can read and understand Dutch well enough to complete the consent form
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Your kidneys must work well (eGFR 60 or higher, not on kidney-risk medicines you can’t stop)
  • You should not have certain heart rhythm/strength and blood test issues (QTc under 500, and blood/organ tests not too abnormal)
