High-flow oxygen versus standard oxygen in hospitalized adults

Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Be admitted to the hospital within the past 24 hours
  • At the first check, have low oxygen (SpO2 under 90%) or be already receiving oxygen
  • Be able to use a nasal breathing tube (no face/airway anatomy issue that blocks nasal cannula)
  • Agree to take part (patient or caregiver cannot refuse)
