Treatments studied
Part of Lungs & breathing clinical trials.
This trial tests if adding high-flow oxygen therapy to your usual long-term oxygen therapy can help you breathe better. It is for people with COPD or ILD who use oxygen at home for at least 15 hours a day.

This study tests whether using a special oxygen device at home helps prevent another acute COPD flare after you’ve been hospitalized. It’s mainly for people with severe breathing problems who may need oxygen support long-term.
This trial tests whether a high-flow nasal cannula (a device that delivers warm, moist air through the nose) can help reduce ongoing shortness of breath in people with interstitial lung disease (ILD) who are already on long-term oxygen therapy.
This study tests whether high-flow oxygen through a breathing tube helps patients recover faster after tracheostomy (a surgical opening in the windpipe). If you're in the ICU with a tracheostomy and nearly ready to breathe on your own, this trial may help you transition off the ventilator more smoothly.
This study will observe how patients with chronic lung diseases change when they start long-term oxygen therapy at home. It aims to understand how the body adapts to oxygen treatment over time.
This study tests whether a high-flow oxygen device works better than the usual (standard) oxygen for people admitted to the hospital with low blood oxygen. The goal is to see if high-flow oxygen can help you breathe easier and improve oxygen levels faster.
This trial studies how well oxygen therapy works for people with long-term lung or heart conditions who have sudden breathing problems. It aims to find the best way to monitor breathing at home to improve care.
