Who can take part

  • You must be able to sign consent and follow the study plan.
  • You have non-small cell lung cancer that is stage IIIB or higher, confirmed by biopsy.
  • Your age must be 18 to under 75, and your daily functioning score (ECOG) must be 0 to 3.
  • Your cancer must fit targeted radiation rules: the tumor is limited in size (under 5 cm).
  • You should be able to receive immune checkpoint inhibitor treatment and stereotactic (targeted) radiation.
  • You likely cannot have recent serious infection, major liver or kidney problems, or conditions that prevent either treatment.
