Immunotherapy plus chemo for locally advanced head and neck cancer
Part of Cancer clinical trials.
This Phase 2 study tests whether tislelizumab (an immunotherapy) combined with chemotherapy works better for locally advanced head and neck squamous cell cancer. It aims to improve cancer control when the tumor is large and has not spread to distant organs.

- You have a tumor that is large enough to measure on scans and you’re stage III–IVb (P16 negative) or stage II–III (P16 positive).
- You have not had any cancer treatment yet (no prior radiation, chemotherapy, surgery, or immunotherapy), especially not in the last 6 months.
- You’re well enough for treatment based on blood tests (like white blood cells, hemoglobin, and platelets) and key liver/kidney clotting labs within set limits.
- You can provide tumor tissue for gene-expression testing and can follow study visits and procedures.

This trial tests a combination of chemotherapy directly into an artery, radiation, and immunotherapy for advanced head and neck cancer. It may offer a new treatment option for people whose cancer hasn't spread to other parts of the body.
This trial tests whether giving the immunotherapy drug tislelizumab with chemotherapy before surgery can help people with advanced head and neck cancer. The goal is to shrink the tumor enough to remove it completely during surgery.
This Phase 2 study tests whether giving low-dose radiation before surgery—along with chemotherapy and an immunotherapy drug—can work better and be safe for treating locally advanced head and neck squamous cell cancer. It may help shrink tumors before surgery and reduce the chance of the cancer coming back.
This trial tests a combination of immunotherapy (tirilizumab) and two chemotherapy drugs (albumin-bound paclitaxel and cisplatin) for people with advanced but removable oral cancer. The goal is to see if this treatment shrinks the tumor before surgery and improves outcomes.
This trial tests whether giving tislelizumab (an immunotherapy) with chemotherapy before surgery works better than surgery alone for people with head and neck cancer that has not spread to lymph nodes. It's for cancers that can be removed with surgery, and the goal is to see if the pre-surgery treatment improves outcomes.
This Phase 2 trial tests tirelizumab combined with two chemotherapy medicines before surgery for certain head and neck squamous cell cancers. It aims to shrink the tumor and improve outcomes after the operation.
