Who can take part
- You have head and neck cancer that can be surgically removed and it's stage III or IVA without spread to lymph nodes.
- You are between 18 and 79 years old.
- You are in good enough health to be up and about (ECOG 0 or 1).
- You have not had immunotherapy or certain other immune treatments before.
- Your kidney, liver, and blood counts are within normal ranges as checked by blood tests.
- If you can become pregnant, you must use highly effective birth control and have a negative pregnancy test. Men must also use effective contraception.
