Modified measles vaccine schedule to help prevent allergies in babies

This study tests whether changing the measles vaccine timing in 6-month-old children can reduce allergy risk and also help protect against unrelated infections. If your child is already up to date with routine vaccines, they may be eligible for a modified measles (MMR) schedule used in the trial.

Who can take part

  • Your child is 6 months old at the time of joining
  • You can sign a consent form and agree to follow the study steps
  • Your child is generally healthy with no serious ongoing health problems
  • Your child is fully vaccinated for age under the Swiss schedule
  • At least 2 doses of DTP-containing vaccine have been given, and the last dose was at least 2 weeks ago
  • Your child has no reasons they should not receive MMR (measles vaccine)
