Taurolidine vs saline lock for kids’ central line

Who can take part

  • Your age is 21 or younger when you join the study
  • You are planning to have a central venous catheter placed (a central line), not a PICC or an external femoral/cervical line
  • You are currently being treated for cancer and can attend regular follow-up visits
  • You (if an adult) or your legal guardian signed consent, and you have the required social security coverage
  • The time from when the central line is placed to the first lock injection is less than 6 weeks
