Who can take part

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be getting your first (primary) reverse total shoulder replacement for cuff tear arthritis, massive cuff tears, osteoarthritis, or inflammatory arthritis.
  • You must have a working smartphone that can use the mymobility app.
  • Your surgery must not be a revision (a replacement of a previous reverse shoulder).
  • There should be no tendon transfer done at the same time as your shoulder replacement.
  • You should not be planned to go to inpatient rehab, a skilled nursing facility, or rely on home health therapy right after discharge.
