Who can take part

  • You are planning a pregnancy (or you are already pregnant) and want to join follow-up for the child
  • Mother age 18–38 and pre-pregnancy BMI between 27.0 and 44.9
  • Father age 18–55 and pre-pregnancy BMI between 18.5 and 44.9
  • Both parents speak Danish or English and can give written consent
  • You are connected to Aarhus University Hospital as the place of birth
  • You can store the child’s biological samples at home using a freezer box from the study team
