Who can take part
- You’re between 18 and 50 years old and can consent for yourself
- You agree not to get live vaccines 30 days before or after your study vaccination (and avoid inactivated live-style timing as instructed)
- If you could become pregnant, you must use effective birth control for 3 months and have a negative urine pregnancy test before vaccination and before certain tissue samples
- You can’t have had a serious allergic reaction to a vaccine (or conditions like Guillain-Barré after a vaccine)
- You can’t have certain immune-affecting conditions or medicines (like HIV, cancer like leukemia/lymphoma, or immunosuppressing chemo/radiation that affects immunity)
- You can’t have hepatitis B or hepatitis C infection
