Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older and have lung cancer or limited lung metastases (one to a few spots).
  • Your tumor must be measurable on scans (or otherwise able to be evaluated) for response tracking.
  • Your day-to-day functioning must be fairly good (ECOG 0–2).
  • If you can become pregnant, you must take strong birth-control steps and have a negative pregnancy test before starting.
  • You must be able to understand the study and sign informed consent.
  • You must not have had prior radiation to the same area of the chest where fields would overlap.
